Salutations to Vishnu, the victorious, bearer of the conch and discus, beloved of Rukmini, consort of Janaki (Sita). The Supreme Soul, worshiped by the cowherd girls, destroyer of Kamsa, and player of the flute.

Translation

O Krishna, Govinda, Rama, Narayana, Lord of Lakshmi, unconquered Vasudeva, treasure of all wealth. O Achyuta, Ananta, Madhava, Adhokṣaja, lord of Dwaraka, savior of Draupadi.

Translation

May Raghava (Rama) protect me—who disturbed the rakshasas, adorned by Sita, who sanctified the Dandaka forest. Accompanied by Lakshmana, served by monkeys, and honored by sage Agastya.

dhēnukāriṣṭakō'niṣṭakṛddvēṣiṇāṃ kēśihā kaṃsahṛdvaṇśikāvādakaḥ pūtanākōpakaḥ sūrajākhēlanō bālagōpālakaḥ pātu māṃ sarvadā
Translation

May Bāla Gopāla always protect me—slayer of Dhenuka and Arishta, destroyer of evil-doers, slayer of Keshi, Kamsa’s enemy, flute player, vanquisher of Putana, joyful player with the cowherd boys.

I worship the dark-complexioned Lord, with curling locks and a radiant face, wearing a jeweled crown and earrings glowing on his cheeks. Adorned with necklaces, armlets, bracelets, and ringing anklets, He is ever charming and effulgent.
