The Seventh Goswami

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura (1838-1914) worked as a magistrate in British India. Through more than a hundred books and songs he revived Gaudiya Vaishnavism for the modern age. He discovered Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's birthplace at Mayapur, and he is honoured as the seventh Goswami.
