Introduction to Śrī Gīta-govinda
aprākṛta tattva yāra haya agocara
Poems of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura contains 6 songs, composed by Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
Six shorter Bengali poems by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura that never formed part of one of his songbooks, arranged here by date, from 1868 to 1891. The earliest were written while he was still a government officer who signed himself Saccidananda Premalankara or Kedaranatha Datta, years before he was known as Bhaktivinoda, and most of them were printed only after his departure, in the Sajjana-tosani or The Gaudiya. They range from a warning on how the Gita-govinda should be read and an invitation to take up the holy name, to a description of the eternal Vrindavana, plain advice to friends, and Rasa Sanketa, a compact summary of rasa-tattva that was printed as an appendix to the first edition of Kalyana-kalpataru.
