Sahasra Sahasra Kane Loliya Loliya Pade Mukhe

With thousands upon thousands of ears the sound rolls and rolls, falling from every mouth; fashioning two tongues, all sing the glories of Gauracandra; Maha-Lakshmi rests at His lotus feet, upon His chest.

Listen, O relishers of devotion, to the glories of Gaura-Govinda; He is Vishnu, the great Vishnu, the Supreme Lord, whose very toenail-effulgence is the state of Brahman itself; You are the life of the gods and sages.

Within, His nature is Krishna Himself, though outwardly He bears the golden hue of Gauranga; the bodily luster of Sri Radha shines in Him; amid a hundred-petaled lotus with a golden whorl, He sports, adorned at its four gates.

Goloka, Vaikuntha, and the realm called Svetadvipa are, in truth, one name of boundless bliss; with Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Pradyumna and Aniruddha, the four abodes are arrayed on the four sides.

In the waters of the Ocean of Milk, on the lap of the king of serpents, is His pastime of yogic slumber; from there all the incarnations descend; the master of Svetadvipa -- Ananta -- attained the form of Nityananda.

With hundreds upon hundreds of jeweled hoods adorning His crown, He bears many-colored radiance upon His white body; countless associates, together with Sanaka and Sanatana in bliss, and hosts of gods and sages, offer Him prayers.

In a single pore of whose hair how many Brahmas, in their own forms, variously create all living beings; Rama and other incarnations are manifest as His partial expansions; He is the ruler of all those universes.

Such are His unlimited pastimes, and so much of this illusory creation has He fashioned; struck by the arrow of Sri Radha's sidelong glance, above all the universes lies an abode named Sri Vrindavana, where His glories are forever sung.
