Glory, glory to Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya, who is an ocean of mercy! Glory to the friend of the poor! Glory to the savior of the fallen!
जय प्रेम-भक्ति-दाता दया कर मोरे
दन्ते तृण करि डाके ए दास पामरे
अर्थ
Glory to the Lord who gives the gift of prema-bhakti! O Lord, please be merciful to me. Placing a straw between his teeth, this insignificant servant calls out to You.
पूर्बेते साक्षात यत पातकी तारिला
से बिचित्र नहे याते अबतार कैला
अर्थ
In ancient times You personally delivered many sinners. This is not surprising, for that is why You descend to this material world.
मो हेन पापिष्ठ एबे करह उद्धार
आश्चर्य दयाल गुण घुषुक संसार
अर्थ
Now please deliver the sinners like me. All the worlds praise Your wonderful mercy.
बिचार करिते मुञि नहे दया-पात्र
आपना स्व-भाब गुणे करह कृतार्थ
अर्थ
If You think I am not worthy to recieve Your mercy, then please make me worthy.
बिशेष प्रतिज्णा शुनि ए-इ कलि-युगे
ए-इ भरसाय राधामोहन पापी मागे
अर्थ
Hearing of Your promise of mercy in the Kali-yuga, the sinner Rādhāmohana begs to take shelter of You.
