sri-rupa Sri Rupa-manjari; pascate behind; ami I; rahiba will stay; bhita hana frightened; donhe the Divine Couple; punah again; kahibena will say; ama me; pane towards; cana looking

Translation

I will stay timidly behind Sri Rupa-manjari. Then the Divine Couple, looking towards me, will speak again.

sadaya hṛdaye doṅhe kahibena hāsi kothāya pāile rūpa! ei nava dāsī

sadaya merciful; hrdaya in the heart; donhe the Divine Couple; kahibena will say; hasi smile; kothaya where?; paile will obtain; rupa Rupa-manjari; ei this; naba young; dasi maidservant

Translation

When will the Divine Couple, compassionately smiling, say: "Where has Rupa-manjari gotten this young maidservant?"

Hearing these words, Sri Rupa-manjari will say: "Manjulali brought this maidservant and gave her to me."

ati namra-citta āmi ihāre jānila sebā-kārya diyā tabe hethāya rākhila

ati very; namra humble; citta at heart; ami I; ihare her; janila knew; seba of service; karya the duty; diya giving; tabe then; hethaya here; rakhila kept

"Finding her very humble at heart, I gave her service and kept her here."
