Radha and Krishna's limbs have merged, half and half: on one half of the forehead the moon, on the other half the sun.
On one half of the throat an elephant-pearl necklace, on the other a forest-flower garland; one half a fresh fair body, the other a smooth dark one.
On one half of the body a yellow cloth, on the other a blue sari; on one arm a bracelet, on the other a blue bangle.
Their limbs entwine and embrace each other on every side. Govinda Dasa says: Rāhu has swallowed the moon.
About Adha Adha Anga Milala
A short Bengali pada by Govinda Dasa Kaviraja built entirely on the poetic device of adha-adha ("half and half"), picturing Radha and Krishna's bodies merged so intimately in embrace that each limb seems to belong equally to both -- half a moon and half a sun on one forehead, half a garland of pearls and half a forest-garland at one throat, one fair half-body and one dark half-body fused as one. It is a classic example of the ang-milan (bodily-union) imagery favoured in Vaishnava pada-kirtana.
