In a forest of flowering bowers and wish-fulfilling trees, within a jeweled pavilion, he, the mind-enchanting king of dancers, waits eagerly for the playful art of the rasa dance.
Skilled in manifold, clever amusements, he softly makes his flute speak, and the elephant-gaited, lovely women go to him, the knots of their garments coming loose in their haste.
His reddish lotus feet are marked by the tender bangles slipped from loving women's hands; sought after like a honeybee seeking the flowers of spring — so Govinda Dasa tells.
