O beautiful one, behold Madhava swinging on a jeweled swing pushed by the hands of his friends, his form swaying, his garland trembling restlessly.
By the abundance of the sweetness of his playful pastimes he has made all the cowherd folk melt with love; sandalwood paste marks his chest, adorned with shining red markings, and the luster of his body outshines the dark tamala tree.
His forehead is beautified by a shining gorocana tilaka applied by the doe-eyed girls of Vraja; the beauty of his moon-like face, whose smile stirs longing, bewilders the whole company of young women.
Skilled in playful, amorous wit, adorned with clusters of flowers, broad-chested and ever at play, he destroys the fear of those who bow to him; he is dear to Sanatana, and the swan gliding on the minds of the people of Vraja.

Verses of this kind, composed by Rupa Gosvami in the voice of Radha's companions, were gathered into his Stava-mala and used for meditative visualization of Krsna's beauty and pastimes.
