He who is love personified, the presiding Deity of love, by whose sight all her sorrow has vanished, now personally serves her.
Coming forward with love, he holds Radha to his heart and then places her on his lap; with his own lotus hand he wipes her eyes, and gazes at her for a long time with steady, unmoving eyes.
With his palm moistened in water cool as the moon, he wipes her face; with a wet lotus leaf he fans her very gently, and asks, "What trouble did you meet on the path?"
Holding her chin with his fingers, he fills her mouth with betel, and Krishna speaks sweetly to her. Govinda Dasa says: ever fresh and new is Radha's bath in nectar.
