May that Radha surely protect you all.

To the skillful cooing of cuckoos as instrumental music and the humming songs of bees, in the resplendent, incomparable arena within the bower's embrace, dancing vigorously with great delight as if on the very stage of Cupid until their limbs grow tired -- victorious is that youthful pair of dancers, the fresh young couple of Vraja!

May Vishakha, whose voice is even lovelier than the sweet-throated cuckoo, bestow upon me too her charming instruction in song, so that by that very skill I may delight this youthful divine couple together with their companions, and thereby repeatedly obtain in this pastime the jeweled ornaments they bestow in reward.

I meditate upon the son of the king of Vraja, whose bodily luster shames a mass of rising rain clouds, who wears garments the color of molten gold, whose lotus face is charming with a gentle smile, whose limbs need no ornament; who, embracing Radhika seated at his left, she intoxicated with the good fortune of their first sportive union, makes her smile through playful, teasing words.
