His beautiful form sways and glistens like a moisture-laden rain cloud, decked with enchanting ornaments; the movement of his reddish eyes outshines the flash of lightning, and it burns away the modesty of the chaste woman.
Seeing my face, he smiles and twists his body, and the enchanting flute slips from his hold; I know not what desire seizes him so restlessly, as he bites at a tender leaf-bud.
Because of this my mind burns on, moment after moment, and my restless life trembles within me. Govinda dasa says: all in vain, all to no avail — even so, I could not attain Kana.
