The Flood of Krsna Prema
jīvera darada-duḥkhi śrīla prabhupāda!
From Miscellaneous Songs by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
Eight verses composed in December 1958 in separation from Srila Prabhupada's own spiritual master, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura — grief poetry in the classical viraha mode this site's other collections use throughout, here written not about Krishna or Chaitanya Mahaprabhu but about the felt absence of one's own guru, decades after Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati's disappearance in 1937. As with Vrindavane Bhajan, the original text is Srila Prabhupada's own composition and remains under copyright, so this site describes rather than reproduces it; only the section titles catalogued here, in English, are shown.
