Rāmānanda

Four songs signed by Ramananda, addressed directly to fellow devotees, jiva, urging them to see the wonder of Gauracandra's pastimes for themselves — a more exhortative register than the descriptive gaura-candrika found in most other chapters of this collection. The name is shared widely across Gaudiya Vaishnava history, most famously by Ramananda Raya, one of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's closest confidants at Puri, though this site's records do not establish that identity for this particular signature.
