Mādhava Ghoṣa

Madhava Ghosa, with his brothers Govinda and Vasudeva, was one of three siblings from Kulai village who became celebrated kirtan singers and eternal associates of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Prabhu; some accounts describe him particularly as dear to Nityananda and skilled in singing of Vrndavana. Only a single song survives under his own signature in this collection, describing Gauranga dancing as an avadhuta, a wandering renunciant.
