अर्थ

This person places a straw between his teeth and his folded hands over his head. This person appeals to you. O queen of my life, please be merciful to me.

priya-sahacarī-saṅge sevana kariba raṅge aṅge beśa karibeka sādhe rākha ei sevā-kāje nija pada-paṅkaje priya-sahacarī-gaṇa-mājhe

अर्थ

Please engage me in the service of Your lotus feet. Please place me among Your gopi--associates. In their company I shall serve You with great happiness. I shall dress You in nice garments, and serve You in various ways.

sugandhi candana maṇimaya ābharaṇa kauśika basana nānā raṅge ei saba sevā jaṅra dāsī jena haña tiara anukṣaṇa thāki tāṅra saṅge

अर्थ

I shall anoint You with aromatic sandalwood paste. I shall happily decorate You with various silken garments and jewelled ornaments. I shall always stay near You as Your maidservant.

jala subāsita kāri ratana bhṛṅgāre bhari karpūra-bāsita guyā pāna e-saba sājāiya dālā labaṅga mālatī-mālā bhakṣya-dravya nānā Anupama

अर्थ

I shall bring You fragrant water in a jewelled pitcher, and betel-nuts mixed with camphor. I shall bring You a clove-twig, a garland of jasmine flowers, and various imcomparably palatable foods.

sakhīra iṅgita habe e-saba āniyā kabe jogāiba lalitāra kāche narottama dāsa kaya ei jena mora haya dāṅṛhaiyā rahu sakhīra pāche

अर्थ

When shall I carry out every order hinted or gestured by the gopis? When shall I attain the association of Lalita--devi? Narottama dasa says: I hope that by praying in this way I shall some day become eligible to follow behind the gopi-frineds of the Divine Couple.
