hā hā prabhu ! kara dayā karuṇā tomāra michā māyā-jāle tanu dahiche āmāra

अर्थ

My body and mind burn in the network of material illusion. O master, be merciful to me, and rescue me from it.

kabe hena daśā habe sakhī-saṅga pāba bṛndābanera phūla gāṅthi doṅhāke parāba

अर्थ

When will I attain the association of the gopis? When will I string flower garlands in the forest of Vrndavana, and then place those garlands on the necks of the Divine Couple?

sammukhe basiyā kabe cāmara ḍhulāba agurū-candana-gandha doṅha aṅge diba

अर्थ

When will I meet the Divine Couple face-to-face? When will I fan Them with a camara wisk? When will I anoint Their limbs with aguru, sandalwood paste, and other fragrant substances?

sakhīra ājñāya kabe tāmbūla jogāba sindūra tilaka kabe doṅhāke parāba

अर्थ

When, following the gopis' orders, will I offer betel-nuts to the Divine Couple? When will I draw artistic tilaka markings in red sindura on the Divine Couple's foreheads?

bilāsa-kautuka keli dekhiba nayane candramūkha nirakhiba basāye siṁhāsane

अर्थ

When, with my own eyes, will I see the Divine Couple jubilantly perform pastimes? When will I see Their moonlike faces as They sit on Their thrones?

sadā se mādhurī dekhi manera lālase kata-dine habe dayā narottama dāse

अर्थ

O my master, if at some time you are merciful to me, then the desire of my mind will be fulfilled, and I will be able to directly see the transcendental sweetness of the Divine Couple.
