raṅge nācaye śacīra bālā rūpe karaye bhubana ālā

अर्थ

Śacī's small son dances in the dancing-circle. His form fills the worlds with glorious light.

jini hema sarasija tanu dhūli dhusara parāga janu

अर्थ

His form defeats the golden lotus flowers. The dust on His body is like pollen on a lotus.

beśa bhūṣaṇa śobhaye bhāla hari bali de-i kara-tāla

अर्थ

His garments and ornaments are glorious. Clapping His hands, He chants, "Hari!"

mṛdu hāsaye madhura chānde tāhe kebā dhairaja bāndhe

अर्थ

His gentle smile is sweet. Who can remain peaceful and indifferent in His presence?

cāri-dike ki kautuke cāya kari bhari sara deyata māya

अर्थ

He playfully looks in the four directions. He grasps His mother's hand.

Gracefully He turns as He dances. The edge of His garemnt trails on the ground.

"Jhinini!", His glistening belt of bells declares.
