Please listen, O friend with the saintly heart, and in a secluded place I will tell you a great secret. The son of Vraja's king came to this place.
नदीया-नगरे हेन नाहि केह न झुरे उहार गुणे
श्रीबास मुरारि आदि यत तार ना जिये दरश बिने
अर्थ
No one is like HIm in Nadīyā-nāgara. No one was unhappy when his glories were manifest. Without seeing Him, Śrīvāsa, Murari Gupta, and so many great devotees could not even stay alive.
शान्तिपुर-बासी अद्वैत तपसी सतत एथाय रहे
किबा से मधुर गुण यारे तारे कत न यतने कहे
अर्थ
Lord Advaita, the great tapasvī from Śāntipura, stayed here in Nadīyā. With how many sweetnesses and glories is Nadīyā filled. Even with the greatest effort I could not describe them all.
आहा मरि मरि हेन अपरूप बालक हबे कि आर
नरहरि सरबस गौरचान्दे करह गलाय हार
अर्थ
Alas! Alas! Alas! Will there ever again be a wonderful child like Gauracandra? Please place a necklace around child Gauracandra's neck, child Gauracandra who is Narahari's everything.
