Guṇa kīrtana — Singing the Glories of the Lord's Qualities

From Kalyanakalpataru by Bhaktivinoda Thakura.

Guna-kirtana, glorification of Krishna's qualities, is one of Kalyana-Kalpataru's shortest sections at two songs. Bhaktivinoda Thakura opens it by naming the opposite condition first — being turned away from Krishna and toward illusion — a pattern he uses at other points in the book as well, establishing what is being moved away from before the section's second and final song turns fully toward praise, addressed to rasika jana, those capable of relishing devotional mellow, and describing Krishna's qualities as beyond counting.
