अर्थ

With gentle words the demigods and goddesses joyfully speak of Lord Gaura's wedding ceremony.

bhāgyabanta loka nadīyāra ha-ila bibāha dekhi ullāsa sabhāra

अर्थ

The fortunate people of Nadiya joyfully gaze at Lord Gaura's wedding ceremony.

rūpabatī kanyā yāra ghare se sakala bipra mane mahā-kheda kare

अर्थ

The brāhmaṇas (assemble) at the beautiful bride's home. Each one laments in his heart (that his daughter was not to be Lord Gaura's bride).

ehena barere kanyā dite nā pārāli hena sukha nāhika bhāgyete

अर्थ

Sanātana Miśra gives his daughter in marriage to Lord Gaura. Sanātana does not know how he had become so fortunate, how he had become so blissful.

e-i-mata keha kata kaya sakale-i sanātana miśra praśaṁsaya

अर्थ

How many guests speak? Everyone praises Sanātana Miśra.
