Lord Nityānanda

The single largest chapter in this whole book, fifty-four songs glorifying Nityananda Prabhu — Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's principal associate, worshipped in Gaudiya Vaishnavism as Krishna's own brother Balarama appearing in this age, and traditionally approached before Gaura Himself as the more approachable, unconditionally merciful gateway to Chaitanya's own grace. Songs here address Him by birthplace, Ekacakra village in Radha-desa, by parentage, as Padmavati's son, and by the same unconditional mercy toward the fallen that runs through His glorification across nearly every other book on this site as well.
